Hi everyone, Rimu Wha had a great first 3 days at school last week! 

There were lots of new people to meet in our class.. including myself! Some of the things we did to get to know each other a bit better were introducing ourselves by doing a mihimihi, playing games of 'two truths one lie', shared about our holidays, and made art that showed some of our favourite things exploding out of our heads. We have put the art on the wall under everyone's names and as the year goes on everyone can decide what they want to display on their wall space. 

We also had our buddy class Kauri Wha come to visit on Friday and read together.

If you didn't get a copy of my letter that went home on day one, I have spares in class.
